Switzerland TaDA Residence Program 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the Switzerland TaDA Residence Program 2026 in Switzerland. All International students are welcome to apply for the Residence program. You’ll be working on a new project with a local textile manufacturer. They will be able to present their work in public through events and workshops. TaDA resident Program 2026 is a fully supported resident program in Switzerland for foreign and national applicants from a variety of fields, including art, design, and architecture, who want to work with textile companies in Eastern Switzerland. TaDA is an acronym for the Textile and Design Alliance, a cultural promotion program in Eastern Switzerland that brings people from various fields together to interact with and learn from textile companies and institutions in Eastern Switzerland, as well as to introduce new, creative, and experimental ideas about textiles and design.
TaDA – Textile and Design Alliance is a cultural development initiative of the cantons of St. Gallen, Appenzell, Ausserrhoden, and Thurgau. It promotes experimental and inventive engagement with Eastern Switzerland’s textile and design culture and is carried out in conjunction with regional textile firms. Textile firms and institutions from Eastern Switzerland serve as program partners, providing expertise and technological resources. This allows the residents to conduct actual artistic work and applied research. The partners, in turn, rely on a creative exchange with the invitees. Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the TaDA Residence Program 2026 in Switzerland, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants from all nations are eligible.
- Individuals working in a variety of sectors, including

- architecture,
- literature,
- performing arts, and
- multidisciplinary situations
- A good command of English or German is essential.
- TaDA annually provides six successful national and international applicants with a work residency in Switzerland.
- The residence is open to creatives and artists of all disciplines who have exhibited an interest in the textile industry, textile culture, and sustainability.
- Basic technical understanding of textile manufacture is advantageous.
- It is also necessary to be willing to meet the needs of the partners. Projects that take a marked experimental approach are especially welcome.
- The relationship to the TaDA partners must be incorporated into project drafts.
