NTHU Summer Research Program 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the NTHU Summer Research Program 2026 in Taiwan. All International students can apply for this National Tsing Hua University Summer Program. Following the Hong Kong Summer Program and the China Summer Program. Additionally, Taiwan has opened doors for international students to participate in summer research programs in 2026. International students from Asia, America, Africa, Europe, and Oceania can participate in Taiwan’s fully funded two-month National Tsing Hua University Summer Research Program. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to participate in the NTHU Summer Program. There is no application fee, and all costs are covered by National Tsing Hua University. Under the direction of the faculty advisor, the program’s goal is to invite students from all over the world to research the project alongside local and international students. Field trips and social and cultural activities are also included.
National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) is a public research institution based in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Beijing is where it was initially established. Most people agree that NTHU is among Taiwan’s top universities. National Tsing Hua University was placed 351-400th in the world by Times Higher Education in 2024. Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the NTHU Summer Research Program 2026 in Taiwan, applicants must follow the following eligibility criteria:
- All Nationals are eligible to participate in this summer research program.
- Graduate students or undergraduates in their third or fourth year of study are eligible.
- Applicants may be nationals of the nations listed in

How to Apply for NTHU Summer Research Program?
- Verify your eligibility: Please verify that you are a student at the university listed on the Ministry of Education’s Reference List for the Republic of China (Taiwan) who has completed at least two years of university study (either as a graduate student or as an undergraduate in your third or fourth year of study). Foreign universities in Asia, America, Africa, Europe, and Oceania are listed as references.
- Prepare the documents, combine them into a single PDF file (no more than 3 MB), and include your entire name in the file’s title (e.g., 2025SRP—First Name, Last Name).
- Speak with possible host academics: Talk about potential research subjects. (Applicants are highly encouraged to establish connections and locate their program advisors.)
- Through the Online application, fill out the required fields, and submit your PDF file before February 28, 2025, at 12:00 pm Taiwan Standard Time.
- Await the results, which are expected to be revealed in late March.
- If you receive the notice of acceptance, respond with your readiness to attend.
