MIT Summer Research Program 2026 for International Students:

Applications are invited to apply for the MIT Summer Research Program 2026 in United States. All International applicants can apply for the Research Program. There is no application charge. The dates of the MIT Summer Program (MSRP) are June 8–August 8, 2026. Participants will also take part in social activities throughout the program, such as boat cruises and trips to the Boston region. Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be considered for the MIT Summer Research Program 2026 in the USA (Fully Funded), students must:

Possess a major or overall GPA of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
Be enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program at a US university in the US or one of its territories (MIT excluded).
Be a junior, a sophomore, or a senior who isn’t graduating.
The graduation date cannot be before December 2026.
Be interested in enrolling in one of MIT’s graduate programs (apart from Sloan professional programs like MBA, EMBA, LGO, etc.).
You may be a citizen of the United States, a permanent resident, or a non-citizen with DACA.
International students who are not citizens of the United States are eligible if they are enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program at a U.S. institution situated within the United States or its territories.
They are ineligible if they are exchange students or are pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an institution outside of the United States.
