ICIQ Summer Fellowship Program 2026 for International Students:

ICIQ is dedicated to open science, the social effect of research, and sustainable and equitable development as a CERCA center and member of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology. International students from all over the world are eligible to apply for this 10-week paid internship. The ICIQ Summer Fellowship will begin on June 1st to September 14th. Eleven Fellows from around the globe will be chosen by ICIQ, and there is no application fee. Fellows will also participate in ICIQ conferences and seminars throughout their internship. Fellows will earn a stipend of 2000 euros for this paid internship. The summer fellows will give an internship report after the internship.
ICIQ is a public foundation that conducts chemical research to address global issues like human health and the climate crisis. The center, which has had two Severo Ochoa Centers of Excellence accreditations since 2014, is home to 250 researchers who are divided among 19 research groups that concentrate on molecular medicine, renewable energy, decarbonization, and sustainable catalysis. These groups drive frontier research using both computational and experimental tools. ICIQ, which is based in Tarragona, collaborates closely with businesses to boost its competitiveness by encouraging the creation of creative applications and the education of skilled workers.
