EU4Ocean Summer School 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the EU4Ocean Summer School 2026 in Italy. All International students can apply for this summer school. There is no IELTS requirement. The goal of the five-day Summer School 2026 on Ocean Literacy & Collaboration is to better understand how to work together on ocean-related initiatives and use this knowledge to promote a sustainable blue economy in a coastal city. Summer School on Ocean Literacy & Collaboration will take place in Milazzo, Italy, from September 14–18, 2026. Applications for the summer program are accepted from all over the world. IELTS is not necessary. There is no application cost.
The European Ocean Coalition (EU4Ocean) links many organizations, initiatives, and individuals who support ocean literacy and sustainable ocean management. With assistance from the Museum of the Sea of Milazzo (MUMA) and the Municipality of Milazzo, UNESCO developed the Summer School on Ocean Literacy & Collaboration within the framework of the European Ocean Coalition (EU4Ocean) and within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021–2030). - To comprehend how to interact with local institutions efficiently.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates worldwide are welcome to apply for this summer school.
- Students who have enrolled in or completed a PhD or Master’s program are eligible.
- Professionals in their early careers are also welcome.
- Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- The Youth4Ocean Forum and ECOPs will give preference to members and youth who are native to or currently reside in EU and non-EU Mediterranean/Black Sea countries in terms of geographic representation.
- The age range of eligible applicants is up to 35
- We will prioritize the formation of an interdisciplinary group and encourage applications from all fields.
