Global Minority Rights Summer School 2026 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the Global Minority Rights Summer School 2026 in Hungary. This summer school is available for international applicants. The 6-day Summer School is scheduled for July 5–10, 2026, in Budapest, Hungary. There will be about 20–25 individuals from all over the world at the Summer School. IELTS is not required. For international applicants from all across the world, the Summer School is a fully funded program. “Self-determination and Minority Rights” is the theme for the 2026 Summer School. This program’s goal is to investigate issues pertaining to minority diversity and cultural rights. Minority rights and the international legal system that safeguards them are the program’s main concerns. Its goal is to unite campaigners and subject-matter specialists. The Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest will host the summer course.
With a focus on Hungarian minorities, Jewish and Roma populations, and other ethnic, national, linguistic, and religious minorities, the Tom Lantos Institute (TLI) is an independent human rights organization. The organization is headquartered in Budapest and has an international Executive Committee, Advisory Board, and multi-party board. In terms of personnel, partners, scope, and funding, it operates globally. TLI is a forum for research and teaching that seeks to close the gaps between norms and practice, research and policy. - Anyone interested in modern theories, contemporary advancements, and advanced training in the defense of minority rights is welcome.
- English proficiency is necessary.
