- Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree as undergraduates or pre-masters are qualified.

- Postdoc: Within the last five years, obtained a PhD. This covers people who work as assistant professors or in the private sector.

- To make sure that the most competent applicants are invited, an international committee of experts selected by the award-granting institutions carefully reviews all applications that are finished and submitted by the deadline.
