Financial Benefits:
- Selected students for SICAU CSC Scholarship 2026 in China are awarded:
- Full tuition reimbursement,
- on-campus housing,
- a monthly living stipend, and
- comprehensive health insurance for the duration of their studies under the Chinese Government Scholarship.
- PhD students earn RMB 30,000 per year for up to three years, while master’s students receive RMB 25,000 per year for the same period.
- The funding package is further strengthened by the Chengdu Municipal Government’s yearly financial support, which varies based on the level of study.
- Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree are given RMB 20,000 annually for a maximum of four years.
- A monthly allowance of RMB 1,000 is given to applicants who enroll in Chinese language programs; the total amount is limited to RMB 10,000 for a single academic year.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Motivated students from Chengdu’s sister cities who fit the age, academic, and linguistic requirements are the program’s target audience.
- Strong academic achievement, adherence to university policies, and a sincere desire to study in China are valued.
- Candidates must meet Sichuan Agricultural University’s entrance requirements, be inhabitants of Chengdu Sister Cities, be foreign nationals, be friendly to China.
- Applicants must be in excellent health.
- Age and Educational Requirement:
- Applicants for bachelor’s degrees must be under 30 and have a high school diploma.
- Applicants for master’s degrees must have a bachelor’s degree and be under 35.
- PhD candidates with a master’s degree who are younger than 40
- Applicants for the Chinese language program: Under 45
- Language proficiency:
- HSK 4 for bachelor’s degrees and HSK 5 for master’s and doctoral degrees are required for Chinese-taught programs.
- IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 60 is required for bachelor’s degree programs taught in English, while IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 70 is required for master’s and doctoral programs.
- Candidates cannot be recipients of any other Chinese or provincial government scholarships, either now or in the past.

How to Apply for the SICAU CSC Scholarship?
- Initially, candidates must apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship via the official CSC portal, choosing Sichuan Agricultural University with its assigned agency number 10626 and scholarship Type B.
- Applicants must apply directly through Sichuan Agricultural University’s international student application system after completing the CSC submission.
- There, they must upload all academic records, scholarship forms, and any necessary confirmation letters from sister cities in compliance with the admission notice.
