Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be considered for the China University of Petroleum CSC Scholarship 2026 in China (Fully Funded), students must:
- Applicants who are under 25 years old and have completed high school.
- Master’s candidates: those under 35 with a bachelor’s degree.
- Doctoral candidates: Those under 40 with a master’s degree.
- Language prerequisites:
- Depending on the program level, Chinese-taught programs require HSK 4 or 5.
- IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 80, or documentation of English-medium training are prerequisites for English-taught programs.
- Only residents of the Belt and Road nations are eligible for the Silk Road Program.
- The particular prerequisites of each program must be fulfilled at the time of application.
Application Deadline:
The last date to apply for the China University of Petroleum CSC Scholarship 2026 in China (Fully Funded) for international students is below:
- CSC Type-A: Between early January to early March 2026
- Silk Road Program: Undergraduate candidates must submit their documents by May 15, 2026, while postgraduate candidates have until May 30, 2026, to finish their submissions.
- CSC Type-B: All applications must be submitted by 1st March 2026.

How to Apply for China University of Petroleum CSC Scholarship?
- Students must first submit their application to the dispatching authority (such as the Chinese Embassy or Ministry of Education in their home country) in order to be considered for the CSC Type-A Bilateral Program.
- Candidates must register for a CSC account, choose Program Type A, and upload all necessary files after receiving a recommendation or nomination.
- In order to improve their final application, applicants are also urged to apply through CUP’s official portal in order to receive a Pre-admission Letter.
- Candidates must apply through both the CUP and CSC portals for the CSC Type-B University Program (Agency Number 11414).
- Select Type B, input Agency Number 11414, upload study plan, recommendation letters, passport, physical exam form, academic transcripts, and, if available, a supervisor acceptance letter.
- A supervisor-approved research plan and acceptance confirmation are required of PhD candidates.
